Today, my boyfriend woke up wheezing terribly, aching, and sneezing. He's allergic to cats. I have 2 and they are my babies. He gave me an ultimatum, him or the cats. I haven't figured out how I'm going to tell him that I choose the cats. FML

Cats are dumb and lazy? What do you know, they match you. You can't even care to spell "you're" right. Do you have anything you adore? Do you have a pet dog or something? People can love their animals without being considered crazy or dumb. The boy shouldn't even force her to make that decision. The guy should have instead asked her to stay over his house. That way the pets stay, she's happy with her loving babies, and he's safe from allergies.

For all of you Negative Nancy's out there.. in all fairness, the cats were there first. And just because this woman loves her cats enough to keep them that doesn't make her a moron nor does indicate that she hates animals (referring to someone's else negative remark). If anything, it just shows that she loves cats.. plain and simple, and if most men were that way (plain and simple) maybe the average woman would choose them over something, even a cat.

I've actually had a situation like this before btw. My boyfriend was allergic to my pet Pomeranian. I've had my doggy ever since she was born. He told me to get rid of her or else he'd dump me. I told him that I loved her and would never get rid of her. That she was a family member. He dumped me. A few weeks later he was grounded for months because his parents heard what happened and they wouldn't allow him to be such a "selfish bitch". and now he hates me, but I have another boy. xD

though I guess I'm pretty lucky that his parents had to leave their beloved pets once he was born. So then when he told them that he dumped me for the dog, they were like "YOU PUT HER IN A TOUGH SITUATION. HER DOG IS LIKE FAMILY. IMAGINE IF SHE FORCED YOU TO TAKE AWAY YOUR SISTER." and basically screamed the hell out of him. I still visit his parents and his younger sister even though he wants to murder me for getting him grounded months ago. :'D
