Today, my boyfriend woke up wheezing terribly, aching, and sneezing. He's allergic to cats. I have 2 and they are my babies. He gave me an ultimatum, him or the cats. I haven't figured out how I'm going to tell him that I choose the cats. FML

Today, after being diagnosed with cat allergies, I explained to my cat-loving boyfriend that the doctor strongly recommended not allowing the cat in the bedroom. At 1:30 a.m. my boyfriend got out of the bed to go sleep in the spare room because, "the cat is sad." FML

Today, I woke up @ my girlfriends place sneezing, wheezing and coughing horribly. I'm living with her right now, and she has two cats. She calls them her "babies", but my extreme deathly allergy to cats begs to differ. I told her it's either me or the cats that's staying. I think she's choosing the cats. FML

Why did he date someone who has cats when he is severely allergic? He HAD to have known earlier. If I was single, I wouldn't date a guy who has cats cause I am very allergic to them. Plus I wouldn't be selfish enough to demand someone get rid of their belived pets. I have no right to demand that and its wrong.

Contrary to 90% of the hateful posts on here op, you will find someone else. There's Plenty of guys out there who will respect your decision to have cats as pets. People and their pets are a package deal.
