Actually though the boyfriend isn't completely wrong. A woman should pee after sex to get rid of the extra semen in her body to prevent yeast and bladder infections, among other reasons. (My Dr. told me this FYI.) It doesn't matter which hole, they both empty when you pee.

Some people are on the pill for other reasons too though. Some types of birth control help regulate hormones and prevent really bad pain during your period. I guess you could use both in that case.
