Today, my elderly neighbor along with our community church's priest came to my house and demanded to "give them the girl". The girl is my 3-year-old daughter, who has natural born red irises and is photo-sensitive. And yes, we are also Romanian. FML

Today, my neighbor's 4-year-old daughter came up to me and asked if she could have my dog. When I said no, she started crying so much that her mom came out 5 minutes later and demanded that I give her daughter the dog. FML
Today, some guys were doing construction on my house, when one of them came over and started asking me about my "hot sister". That "sister" is my 13-year-old daughter. FML
Today, I found out that my seemingly innocent 80-something neighbor has been stalking every girl in the neighborhood, and considers me his girlfriend. FML
Today, my grandmother called me in a fit of panic because her new neighbors are black. So is my fiancé, whom she is supposed to meet tomorrow. FML
Today, we've been dating for over three months, but I went over my girlfriend's house for the first time. As we walked through the door, I was greeted by a little girl whose first words to me were, "Are you my daddy?" FML
Today, I was with my four year-old daughter when we met an elderly, rather wrinkled woman I know. My daughter looked at her for a while and then asked, "Why doesn’t your skin fit your face?" FML
Today, I was stretching on the balcony, when I heard my neighbor's daughter scream. She was playing in their kiddie pool and thought I was peeping on her. And now her parents think so too. FML
Today, I met a nice girl and decided to ask her out. Later on she showed me a picture of her with her family, she was wearing red and everyone else black. I said jokingly "you look like the adopted child" only to find out that her had parents died and she was indeed adopted. FML
Today, I was working at a portrait studio and was taking pictures of a little girl, I kept telling the girl to stop making silly faces when she smiles because her eyes go cross-eyed. After the third time I said it her mom grabbed the little girl and left. Turns out, she was naturally cross-eyed. FML
Today, a little girl looked at me and yelled "Mommy look, there's a real leprechaun!" FML

I wish I was there. They would no know what to think with my eyes changing colors all the time they would probably have forgotten about your daughter. A lot of folklore involving people like myself is general calling is evil.

I'm wondering if 1947Chevy is of Irish heritage. My eyes do that as well and so do my father's. My family refers to them as gaelic eyes.

As a matter of fact most of my fathers side of the family is Irish. However my mothers eyes do the same thing and we know of nobody on her side of the family from Ireland.

The Scottish and Welsh are also of gaelic decent. Maybe she gets it from them or another celtic people.

Yes, religion can be dangerous. Religion is not always a bad thing... it can really be helpful to people and only makes them better people, but then there's the other people who screw it up. There's idiots who treat a young child wrongly because of their eyes. There's idiots who bully and hurt and kill for their religion. But honestly, those people probably be messed up in the head whether they had a religion or not. It sucks.

I bet the red eyes are really pretty :) It must be hard for her to have idiots like those people thinking she's messed up because of her eye color. I'd say its really rude of them to do that to her, but obviously they're just too stupid in the head to know whats right and wrong. If they think the eye color a kid is born with means something about satan or whatnot, then I'm not sure its possible to reason with them.

Get proof she is your daughter and put a restraining order on both of them and tell them to piss off, they have no right coming to your door and demanding your child. My 3 kids look nothing like me and look like their dad, I have olive skin while their dad is white and they have white skin, I actually get asked if they are my children or are they adopted -_- adopted or not still rude to ask. I actually know of a mum at my youngest daycare that looks 30 and gets asked if they are her grand kids or is she babysitting, she married an African man and she has pale skin also, the nerve of some people.

Yes, seriously OP, call the cops. If these people are deranged enough to come to your door and demand that you hand over your child, they're dangerous. Sane people don't do this. And if they're willing to go as far to confront you about your daughter needing a priest, they're likely to do something else, like kidnap her "for the good of the community".
