Today, my younger brother and I got into a fight over who the favorite child is. My mom overheard, came in the living room and said, "It's your little brother, now shut up." She was serious. FML

Today, I got into a major fight with my parents over my younger brother stealing from me. Their response was to get angry at me for my "tone" with them. My brother is 18 with an obvious drug problem, but my tone is the problem. FML

I pretended to swallow the bullshit and invited her over, just so I could slam the door in her face. My brother says I went too far, like he somehow forgot what a shit mom she was. FML

Today, our mom hit my brother's head hard against the wall. He was taken to the hospital with a head wound. He came home in the evening, and said that his mom told him to say that it was his sister who'd hit him with a ball. My brother had told me the story and I'd recorded it on a tape recorder. FML

Ha, it's nice for the families whose middle child(ren) are ignored. My family loves my brother (middle) the most, and ignores/picks fights for no good reason with me (eldest) and my sister (youngest).

probably a) the younger one was being cocky and OP was putting it in its place or b) OP was told off/grounded for something and yonger one mocked her or OP said younger 1 wouldnt have been in trouble cos hes the favourite.
