Solid case for the defense

Today, our mom hit my brother's head hard against the wall. He was taken to the hospital with a head wound. He came home in the evening, and said that his mom told him to say that it was his sister who'd hit him with a ball. My brother had told me the story and I'd recorded it on a tape recorder. FML

Yeah, no, straight to the proper authorities with that crap.

No matter what, get all of your brothers/sisters out of that house and call Child Protective Services. That level of abuse is illegal for a reason. Your lives are each worth the new home you can receive. CPS will work to keep siblings together and not separate.

Are you sure you didn't hit your head on the wall? Your first sentence is a jumbled mess. Good thing you have blackmail material on your mom -- these situations usually resolve themselves happily and peacefully.

She probably has gotten her fair share hits and is confusing words... Usually people recognise abuse on closed ones, but not on themselves.

Call the cops and your local equivalent of Child Protective Services. If not for yourself then for your brother.

Report! Even if you don't want to, you should report it immediately if something goes wrong with the injury you could be charged. Ensure that you do not get pulled into this mess, cover your basis and please report this abuse to authorities, child services if your brother is underage. This is serious, head injuries can carry devastating results even after the time has passed.

Is it me or at least two sentences make no sense?

Talk to a teacher or someone you trust. You need support going forward. However, it plays out. What your mum has done is not right. Once, issues have been addressed. You can all move forward and hopefully build a new relationship of respect.
