So while my daughter was agreeing to get married, my sister and I were in the car park with the jealous little shit in a headlock, whilst screaming that he loved her and that it’s not fair. He’s 27. Maybe the situation is a tad bit awkward, but mom...your life isn't ******. you should be happy your daughter is in love and engaged to be married. you must at least have a good idea if he's a decent guy or not, with your parent/teacher conferences and all.

0.o If this was more than a year ago, I'd wonder if I knew said daughter. A girl I graduated high school with is now engaged to her family friend, and former middle school teacher. She even gave up Med school in Poland for him.
