Today, I just found out my dad got remarried a year ago. The woman is officially living with us, I got to have lunch with her alone today. I found out she is only 22, with a 14 year old little brother. My dad's 47. I'm 17, now with a 14 year old uncle and a mom that can pass for my girlfriend. FML

Today, my dad told me he was planning to have his steady girlfriend over for dinner. He's only had a few relationships since he and my mom split up when I was very young, so I was excited to meet the woman. He then told me that I knew her already. My dad is dating my aunt on my mothers side. FML

Today, my dad is getting married for the 4th time. First it was my mom, then as they got older, he married a woman 10 years his junior, then his third wife was my age and 28 years his junior. Now at the grand old age of 64, he is marrying a 22 year old, 42 years his junior, almost 2 decades younger than me. FML

Today, I was introduced to my dad's girlfriend of six months. I've already heard them sleeping together several time,s and seen her car pull away early in the morning. After meeting face to face, I also learned that she's only two years older than me. FML

I think it's hilarious that everyone thinks that she'd be willing to screw the son. There's a huge difference between 17 and 22, especially if the female is the older age. And if she's been dating an older guy-- like Dad-- it's highly unlikely that she would be remotely attracted to his son.

Nope, I didn't find out my dad got remarried for a while either. Not everyone has the perfect half at dad's half at mom's house rule. I don't know which movies you've watched but that's NOT how custody has to work. Unless you have personal experience or know through friends, you're allowed to make ignorant comments but please don't make ignorant flames.
