Today, I shaved my legs and armpits for the first time in 6 weeks. Unfortunately, I didn't have a hot date, I just had my yearly gyno exam. FML

eh it's a female thing (although i and a bunch ofother women most likely shave a couple times a week if not more), but we all make sure we are shaved up in ALL areas esp before going to the gyno

Uh, no "we" don't. I don't shave my pubic area ever and no one seems to care. Not the gyno, not my boyfriend, not anyone who matters.

I sure do. Pubes pushing their way through lace panties are super gross. Unsexiest thing ever. Plus pubes get everywhere- towels, rental cars seats, rugs (not mine, gross!)

I don't understand why people are saying it is gross, especially males. It's not nice to look at hairy armpits on a girl, i'll admit, but if it's winter and there's no chance of anyone noticing due to wearing long sleeves there's no need to accuse her of being 'dirty' or 'disgusting'. And it isn't actually unhygienic otherwise most of the male population would be in trouble. As for hairy legs? Oh gawd no. OMG NO. Grow up, people...

ewww ur nasty,I can't go a single day without shaving :( the ONLY hair on my body is my hair that I wash EVERYDAY btw cuz you might not do that either :( but the Doc was grossed out by you

its not necessary to wash your hair everyday, unless it gets very greasey. I had a friend who did that due to OCD her hair got very thin and brittle.

well if it's an old woman it wouldn't be bad, like 60 up, then again how many sixty year olds do you see typin up fmls, but for you OP your a grosso at least shave those arm pits the legs I could get past but those pits... ughh.

I have to admit that in a few short months I've read more about females personal hygene habits (or lack of) than I ever would have looked for or found on my own and the mental vision isn't pretty. I think I'm scarred for life. ;p
