Today, I found out why my girlfriend of 8 months has never agreed to stay the night before. Now I have a 4-month old mattress that needs replacing, and a 23-year-old bedwetter for a girlfriend. FML

Meanwhile, somewhere else on FML. "Today I felt comfortable enough with my boyfriend to stay the night with him in spite of an embarrassing problem. I did it because he kept pressuring me. This comment shouldn't be buried... its a medical fact. There are hundreds of scholarly journal articles that link bedwetting past early childhood to sexual abuse. This is plausible and certainly not funny!

I hope that you were at least sensitive about the matter, but I doubt it since you obviously just HAD to post it as an FML. The poor girl has absolutely NO control over something like that, and she is probably mortified and hurt. I'd seriously consider flowers and getting on your knees to reassure her that you don't give a shit, otherwise I PRAY she dumps you. Your mattress doesn't need replacing, just a good clean. Get a phonebook for a cleaning service!
