It's gonna up to 272 YDI votes now. There are always a few hundred people on the site who post YDI to absolutely everything. It's not a huge deal. Your dad's a bit of fuckwit really. Cheating's a pretty shitty thing to do in the first place, but naming your child after the person you're cheating with? Disgusting. Anyway, there's not much you can do. As long as you don't let it get out that you're named after your dad's thing-on-the side.

No, it's like this. The OP was told she was named after a famous actress, but her name wasn't spelled the same way. Then her father admitted she was actually named after his mistress and not the famous actress.
