agree. testing all partners is just feeding paranoia. the chances of them actually being infected are pretty damn low, and would be even lower still if we didnt live in a time that sexual openness and education is nothing more than a pipe dream

One should expect the worst. How is it a waste of time if they do have something? I think I'd rather spend a little on a panel test then spend money on creams, pills, or what have you if I got an STD from someone. Especially if it was an STD you can't get rid of. & Tests for things such as? I do demand it of my partners and they happily oblige because they would like the same courtesy in return. I really don't think it's too much to ask someone to get tested. If you're perfectly fine taking the risk of catching something because you don't take easy to-do precautions, you're asking for it. Given, if it is a one night stand, you should probably just use a condom. If you're looking for a long term relationship, get tested. If you're one of the people running around not using condoms, you're just part of the problem for the so-called "paranoid" world.
