Today, I told my long distance girlfriend I will be coming half way across the country to visit here since I have not seen her in a month, I gave her my flight information so she could pick me up at the airport. She responded with "That's when The Office is on, can you take a cab?" FML

just spend your energy and money on people who really care about you. it is true that you only realise who does much too late. anyways been there, waited 10 months for gf to come back to have her say she doesn't see why she should get back with me.. 10 ******* months..

Wait, were you broken up and just hoping she'd come back or did you just live apart or something? If you waited 10 months for a girl who you weren't even dating then chances are you should have taken the hint that she didn't want to get back together...

Aw, then that truly sucks. Waiting for someone like that just to be dumped, she could have just told you rather than leaving you hanging for almost a year! Obviously you were worth her time, you cared enough to wait, that is actually very admirable. Assuming you aren't a loser who couldn't get anyone else to date you so you waited out of desperation ;)

I can't watch TV and pay attention to people talking to me. My wife has whole conversations with me before she realizes I don't even know she is speaking. It's not that I don't care, I just don't have the ability to do both for some reason. TV can be very harmful for relationships. Watch the divorce rate skyrocket again because people are mad at their spouses for watching TV instead of taking a romantic walk together :P
