Whoa! That is such a great idea!!! I just looked up on line those kind of roses (for this is the first i'm hearing of it) and they are soooooo pretty!! If my boyfriend gave me something like that, that would be the sweetest thing!! He would sooo get some "alone time" with me ;3 Your wife should be happy with your thoughtfulness. tbh, it sounds like a pretty dull present to me. You can buy anyone a rose. It's not particularly personal and it's not like it really takes much thought either, because presumably the company that makes them came up with the idea. I looked up how these roses look after being dipped. I'm not sure I'd want one, to be honest, but if my guy handed me one, I'd accept it and place it somewhere where it can be admired, and even forgotten (on a shelf, out of the way, but in sight still...or in the China cabinet/display case). Personally, I LOVE the wooden roses, they come in several colors and look really nice. As for the "It's too Italian" comment....that's rude, racist, and just stupid.
