apparently there are more important reasons made mom want you two break up, except winning the money of just $90, and i don't think anybody would break up only for just $10, mom must have used certain plot

OP any guy who would accept $10 to break up with you isn't worth your time. Now you know what kind of a person your ex is and you're free to find someone who will actually value and respect you. Although that was quite a dick move on your mother's part.

He's not the right guy for you. If he were, he would know how to handle the situation properly. The right guy would demand more money and pretend to break up with you. You two split the money then get back together. There. You still have a boyfriend AND you have more money.

FYL for having such a lousy boyfriend. But really, your mom did you a favour, so I don't understand people who say she's a bitch. First she proved the boyfriend was a waste of time and then got you rid of him. It's all good.
