Today, I checked over the pictures on my night-cam to see if my cats are really going on our kitchen counters. As soon as I'd seen the first picture, I realized that this whole time my cats haven't been going on it. It was a rat. FML

I live in an old farm house in the country and every year we catch between 10-15 mice. Nasty little things. Set some traps. They like peanut butter. And if you have an attic I'd throw some poison up there. After you feed your cats put away their food and clean up any crumbs. We only kept cats around to help with rodents and if they didn't hunt we would give them away and try to find one that would hunt. The only cat we ever had any luck with passed away a while back and now we have mice again and moles and gophers. It sucks :/

Step 1. Acquire night vision goggles. Step 2. Acquire a Rambo knife. Step 3. Wait for the rat to climb onto the counters, and then proceed to viciously separate his body into two slices.
