Today, I broke my arm, and posted a picture of my X-ray on Facebook to show everyone how bad the break is. Nobody even asked me if I was OK. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I fell down the stairs. Lying on my back in extreme pain, I called my mom for help. When she came over, she said I looked like a dead bug, took a picture and posted it on Facebook. FML
Today, I fell down the stairs and broke my arm. I went into hospital to get it put in a cast, but still went into school afterwards. I got written up for truancy because I didn't have a doctor's note. The cast was still on my arm. FML
Today, I broke my leg while trying to show my friend how I broke my other leg. FML
Today, I broke my arm because my fucking ass friend pushed me off the stairs, and while I was in pain and was screaming, no one helped me. The worst part is that it happened at school. FML
Today, my doctor called and asked me when I could have my broken hand x-rayed again. I said the ER staff had told me it was a bad sprain over two weeks ago. I'm now in a full cast, and have to have my partially healed bones re-broken. There goes my summer. FML
Today, the day after saying that I'd never broken a bone, I snapped my fibula in half. FML
Today, I changed my relationship status on Facebook from "in a relationship" to "single." I forgot to take my phone to work, and when I got back, I saw someone had replied, "What happened?" Someone else commented, "He broke his hand." My ex and a bunch of other "friends" liked it. FML
Today, I blacked out going up a roller coaster. Instead of helping me, my friend took pictures of my face and posted them on Facebook. FML
Today, at a party that was pretty big, I thought it would be funny to photobomb a photo. In doing so, I slipped over and snapped my arm in. I may now have to get surgery. The good thing is I made a hell of a photobomb. FML
Today, I was sitting on park bench eating a sandwich when suddenly the bench broke and I fell and broke my arm. FML

Perhaps instead of posting these kind of things on Facebook in hopes of getting attention, you should just tell your closest friends what happened...assuming you have any. I don't understand why you're so concerned about Facebook right after breaking your arm anyway.

My mother in law is the same way. She gets all upset if she posts a pic and no one comments. I refuse I let fb dictate my social life.

I had gallbladder surgery (I was 18) and was in the hospital for 2 days. My parents were the only ones that visited, and they went home at night. I couldn't get to the bathroom by myself. And no friends acknowledged me. Lol, people just suck sometimes.
