Today, I babysat an 11 year old kid while his parents ate out. As soon as they left, the kid asked me if I wanted to be on the sex offender's list. Before I could even process that, he told me to stay out of his way and he wouldn't accuse me of anything. FML

Record him saying all of that, make 100% sure that it saved, and then call his parents and tell them to come home immediately to show them the video. That shit's not cool and he needs some serious discipline. (Make sure he doesn't know you recorded him and doesn't have access to your phone so he can't delete it).

Should have told him to sit down and shut up before he ends up on a milk carton

Can someone explain this? I've heard of sex offender and I'm just really confused as to why a 6th grader knows in-depth what the hell that even is. But can someone explain the "blackmail" part everyone's talking about? What this kid said was just random, OP, you need to tell his parents

Blackmail is making someone do something (or not do something in this case) by having something that could potentially hurt them. For example, an ex boyfriend threatening to release his girlfriend's nudes all over the Internet if she doesn't get back with him. The little boy is threatening to accuse OP of rape if OP doesn't let the brat do whatever he wants.

Be sure to steer clear of ever babysitting that kid again.

this is maybe the 5th time I read something like this. are kids really this bold these days? it's funny in a really weird sad way though sorry OP

Blackmailed by a preteen...that is a new low.

I wouldn't stand for that, would have called his parents or police, because the police can be witness to you not molesting and simply being the responsible party. Hate kids who think like that

This FML is just OP's way of covering themselves after molesting a child, I'm sure of it.

on behalf of my generation (ie. peoples born from 2000-2010) i would like to apologize

The second that happened you should have called the parents and said "I cannot babysit your child. Return home immediately."
