Wow, that was a really hurtful way for her to put it whether she was joking or not. Keep your head up, I'm sure you'll find a nice girl. I just wouldn't introduce any girlfriends to your mother, because she would probably say something stupid again.

The older I get, the less I care about looks, and more about the personality of a girl I meet. Hopefully, there's a girl out there for you, that thinks like me. Not saying you're ugly, your mom could have just been being mean on purpose :P
