Today, I was in a rush, so I was removing my nail polish while using the toilet. Everything was going fine, until I used the toilet paper in my hand to wipe. It was covered in nail polish remover. It still burns. FML

Today, I woke up in the middle of the night because I was thirsty. In my groggy state, I grabbed the first bottle of liquid I could find, opened it, and took a sip. It was nail polish remover. FML

Today, I was with a wedding party getting manicures. I absentmindedly used a freshly-painted nail to pick my nose and ended up with two beauticians scraping indestructible bright red gel varnish out of my left nostril with acetone soaked q-tips, while everyone sat waiting in complete silence. FML

Today, I accidentally super-glued my hand to my face while trying to fix a broken pair of glasses. I yanked it off in a panic, taking a patch of my face along with it. FML

Today, I was putting red nail polish on my nails and put a newspaper on the table to make sure that it didn't spill. I later discovered the nail polish made the newspaper stick to the table. I scrubbed nail polish remover on it, thinking it would help but instead bleached the table. FML

Today, I was tinting my own eyelashes when I missed my eyelashes and stabbed myself in the eye with the applicator loaded with dye. Now, I have beautiful lush black eyelashes, to match my half closed swollen red left eye. Sexy. FML

I don't know how people don't check bottles before they use something. My nail polish remover and my makeup remover look NOTHING alike. It must've burned so bad. I hope you were seen by a doctor.

Last time I checked, nail polish remover smells AWFUL, and by the smell you can normally tell it's nail polish remover, you would think the OP might have been realized "Hmm..this doesnt smell right." and checked the label. Next time, double check before you put something on your eyes.

Umm what ever happened to warm water and a wash rag? ya know a nice shower, instead of paying for eye make up remover? =^_^= just curious....works well for me and i dont have to worry that i am gonna put nail polish remover in my eye...eh just a thought!

Haha, don't think this one is fake xD Last year my mom came home from a night out, exhasuted, and tried to take off her makeup with nail varnish remover. If the OP was tired, it's possible. Your eyes might've stung for a bit, but otherwise should've been okay if you rinsed them enough

hahaha!! it's not a fake, my mom has this blue face stuff that matches the nail polish remover quite nicely, so one night she accidentally used that to remove her make up... lmao
