Today, my husband and I were diagnosed with herpes. We've been together for five years and were both virgins before. Even the doctor couldn't give any other explanation. FML

Today, my boyfriend, who I have been seeing for a year, decided to tell me that he has herpes and has not taken any precautions to stop it from passing on. We have had unprotected sex quite a lot over the last year, so now I most likely have herpes too. FML

Today, after receiving a negative herpes test four months ago, my doctor called me and told me it was a false negative and I’ve been living with herpes for four months. I then had to tell everyone I’ve slept with about it, and worst of all my new boyfriend broke up with me. All in one day. FML

Ur right to say FML, but more so because u must b in complete denial about the fact that u believe ur spouse has only been with u! The only way to contract herpes is thru physical contact whether genitally or orally...so wake up n smell the coffee my dear!

bummer. but just so you know. oral herpes and down there herpes are two different stands of the virus and your doctor could tell that. your husband cheated chances of herpes laying dormant for 5 years. LMAO! the incubation period is about 3 months.

It's possible that one of you contracted it from a cold sore, and it's also entirely possible you've been misdiagnosed. I know someone who was incorrectly diagnosed with herpes by their doctor, and it turns out their new laundry detergent was just irritating their crotch...
