Today, my husband and I were diagnosed with herpes. We've been together for five years and were both virgins before. Even the doctor couldn't give any other explanation. FML

either ur husband lied to you about being a virgin or u could have recieved it while using a public restroom some stds are actually passed on that way

you could in theory catch herpies from an animal. through a bite or scratch. its even been known to be on their fur. there is a possible answer for you.

if someone has a cold sore and they give oral sex to their partner with that cold sore present that form of herpes will be transferred into genital herpes. so never receive oral sex when your partner gets a cold sore!!! I had to learn all of this during my seminars at Ohio State! and I was very shocked! so if one of you two had a cold sore present then that explains how you two ended up with the diagnoses... and that sucks! sorry :-(
