Today, my girlfriend broke up with me because I brought to her attention a rather large zit on the corner of her mouth. She called me an insensitive prick. I only pointed it out because I didn't want other people to see it and make fun of her. FML

I agree that she over reacted and probably shouldn't have dumped you just for that. But once you told her it was there, what is she supposed to do about it to avoid it being seen by others? She was probably already trying not to think about it, so if she knew it was there and left it uncovered, she probably didn't think anyone would really care. But you let her know that they sure did care. She still over reacted, though.
