Today, my daughter asked me what is the youngest age at which you should start having sex. Being a good mom, I said that she shouldn't have sex until after she's been married. My daughter then said, "Oh... shoot," and walked away. My daughter is twelve. FML

Whats everyone freaking out about? My first time was when I was 7. :D The girl was my sister's friend, but she was 13. It's been our dirty little secret. Anyways, maybe she was thinking about it, but wanted info?

honestly, coming from a 12 yr old. what really sucks is that lots of girls have sex the first time when 12-13. and usually with okes that are near 18. here is yr real problem. this world is mad. all im gonna say.

Why would you advocate abstinence, seriously? Sex is a great experience and you wouldn't be doing a favor to your kids by teaching them to refrain from it. Sure, 12 is still pretty early to have an intercourse, but it's never too early to teach your kids about the responsibility that comes with it and the need to know about pregnancy prevention, stds, etc. By the time they are 15, your kids will be VERY sexually active (same as you at their age) and the stupidest thing you can do for them is to make them live in denial about what a wonderful experience sex and relationships are. My 2 cent.
