I thought I was too, then I changed the way I acted about myself. Try and make fun of yourself, it works most of the time;)
A part of that is your hair style I think. You can still look good in a suit with short hair! You would look quite handsome I bet actually.
You look like Arin Hanson
A young Nick Cave.
#36, he also looks fine with his hair the way it is.
I don't understand why some parents feel the need to destroy their children's confidence. He should be building you up, not tearing you down.
Parents can be harsh, I wish they'd understand that we need love and nurturing, not insults and disrespect.
What if he built him up and then knocked him down? It's always more fun that way anyways.
Don't take it personally, he was drunk. Hang in there, OP. No need to rush.
If you don't like you than do something about it instead sitting there and saying you're weird and awkward
That's not exactly the problem here. OP never said he didn't like himself,it's what his dad said thats the problem.
Except the OP agrees with his drunk dads statements by saying that he is all too right.
FYL OP for having an unsupportive dad but maybe instead of sitting on ur ass and writing about it, go out and get lucky! I believe in you OP
Unfortunately, I'd probably do that to my kid while sober
He'll definitely look like his father then.
Advice: then don't have kids. If that's what you'd do when sober, I can't imagine what you'd do drunk
Don't worry about it OP. You'll get some eventually
