Not attractive to women? As long as you're not gay too, who cares. Guys will still like you because you have boobs. Seriously, that's all it takes. I dated my wife for 2 months before I realised she even had a face.

A lot of times, when people come out to their best friends, the reaction is for the friend to reevaluate their entire friendship with the person, worrying that it was based on attraction and not friendship. That's gotta be humiliating for the gay friend. I imagine she was just trying to correct that assumption, albeit awkwardly.
