Remember, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Except herpes. That shit'll come back with you.

why does everyone assume the guy gave it to her? that shit could have been hiding all up in her the whole time. I got blamed for giving a ex an STD once I got tested and sure as hell wasn't me. But a guy she was with before me was dirty and she just never showed any signs after they broke up. have the guy get tested before you start blaming him.

If she's thinking he cheated on her 2 months ago they've probably had sex and so he would most likely have it either way. Although a friend of mine thought a guy she was with had cheated and given her an std because she got symptoms like if she had one but it turned out not to be an std, it was a completely different type of illness. Since OP said she might have one maybe she's thinking the same thing if she's getting sick with something that's giving her some symptoms of an std.

Today, it looks like I may have an STD. My fiancé and his friends went to Vegas two months ago. He says he's been completely faithful. They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Turns out that's not quite true. FML

It can take 6 months for HIV to show up, which is why people are tested twice just in case. And the person can still have caught it at that time it just might not show on tests straight away. That's not the case with all STDs. Maybe you need to be more informed before having sex...

there are many different ways to transmit STDs. The swapping of any bodily fluids will do the trick. anywhere from sex to comin in contact with someone elses blood. Dont assume things, after all he is it FIANCE.
