Today, I woke up really early before my mom so I could make pancakes for Mother's Day. I placed everything on a tray and even picked a flower, had a card for her and took it to her bedroom. She said, "You shouldn't have, pancakes are fattening." She took one bite and fed the rest to the dogs. FML

Today, I sent a $120 bouquet of flowers for mother's day. When I called tonight see if my Mom got them, she replied that they were still on the doorstep because she "didn't want the dogs to get excited and start barking" when she opened the front door to bring them in. FML

Today, I found out that my mother organized someone to feed my pets because I would be out of town overnight, even though I told her that I would be back in the morning and they would be fine. They overfed my dogs, with one of them eating over 10% of her weight, and now she may have bloat, which is often fatal. FML

Today, I wanted to do something nice for my mom. So, while she was sleeping, I cleaned the whole house for her and even made her breakfast. A few minutes later, she came downstairs and yelled at me to keep it down because she was trying to sleep. FML

Today, I decided to make an almighty breakfast of fried eggs and bacon. I couldn't find anything to flip the eggs with so I used a red spatula that my sister handed me. As I was finishing a delicious fry up, my mom came downstairs and asked me why the cat litter scoop was resting in the frying pan. FML

if you knew your mom was on a diet or a health nut, trying to guilt her into eating pancakes was really thoughtless of you. you could have at least made her a healthy breakfast. mother's day is about her, not you. asshole.

i presume you and your mom live in the same house. shouldn't you know what she does and doesn't eat? i don't eat pancakes but i'm pretty sure anyone who knows me somewhat well would realize that they shouldn't make them for me.

#55- Who said they were trying to guilt her into doing this, or that she was a big health nut. It's not like they purposely inconvenienced her, just trying to do something nice for Mother's Day. If you ask me, you're the real asshole here.
