Today, I went on a run with the family dog. I returned home to three missed calls and a hysterical voicemail from my dad. Why? The dog was gone. Not me, his 15 year-old daughter, the dog. FML

But, if you ask me, it's not weird if the 15 year old is not home - but it sure is strange if the dog isn't!

well, you being a person who's capable of being in the world, its understandable for you to be gone. the dog however, no. Shuddup lol you're a bitch

honestly you're 15 so he probably assumed you went to hang out with your friends or something.

If a dog isn't at home it might have run away, putting itself in danger of getting hit by a car, or some other scenario where it is never heard from again. If a teenage girl isn't at home, she could be out with friends, or, say, jogging. You not being at home does not immediately suggest you're in danger. Don't be so self-centered.

well he proberlly new that u were out somwere. but were would the dog be!

he obviously knows you can look after yourself outside the house, whereas he is not so confident the dog can.
