Today, I bought an iTunes giftcard worth $50. I tried to scratch off the little silver thing covering the code with a pair of scissors. I scratched so much that it's now unreadable. FML

Today, I bought a $50 Nintendo eShop card to redeem on my Nintendo Switch. As I was scratching the grey area, I scratched too hard, making it hard to see what it was. I tried randomly guessing and asking for help. Neither helped. Guess who didn't get $50 back. FML

Today, I received a $50 iTunes card for my birthday. I immediately sat down at my computer and starting buying all my newest favorites. Then I realized I never redeemed my card so the $50 was all charged to my account. FML

Today, I saw some random iTunes charge on my bank account so I called who I thought was iTunes customer support to figure out the $5 charge, then got scammed into buying $1,400 worth of gift cards. The man on the phone was not with iTunes and took all my money. FML

Today I bought a 50$ voucher card to refill my phone. After I purchased it, I threw the receipt in the dustbin. When I got home, I found out that the 14-digit pin code was on the receipt. I basically threw 57 bucks in the dustbin. FML

If you enter an incorrect code enough times it gives you the option to "get help" which lets you type in the serial number.

Seriously, how dumb do you have to be to scratch that little film of silver off of your giftcard that you scratch the numbers off of the plastic?! Also, use a penny or something. ¬¬ YDI, but this is so not an FML. You can take it back to the store, and they can give you a new card!

I haven't read the other comments so I might be repeating, but if you have kept your receipt you can go in and get a new one. For #66, not everyone likes to download music illegally. If you were an artist, wouldn't you want to receive money for your music?!
