Today, after finally breaking up with my controlling girlfriend, she took a shit in my socks. FML
Today, my girlfriend told me she is breaking up with me for my friend, because she likes people with diaper fetishes. I had no clue either of them liked that stuff. FML
Today, I was at my girlfriend's house having dinner with her and her parents. I was casually playing footsie with my girlfriend under the table, until her mom stopped eating and said, "You know that's my foot, right?" FML
Today, I told my girlfriend that I'm breaking up with her because she's very abusive. After a couple of seconds of awkward silence, she kicked me in the nuts and ran away. FML
Today, I told my boyfriend about my foot phobia. To help me "get over it", he took his socks off, pinned me down, and rubbed his foot against my face until I started sobbing. FML
Today, I was talking to this guy I liked at work. He was flirting with me, and everything was going great, I was so happy, until he started talking non-stop about the extent of his foot fetish. FML
Today, my girlfriend said she hates my feet and it’s a real turn off. It’s got to the point where if she sees my feet in bed she won’t sleep in the same bed as me. I hate wearing socks in bed, so not sure how we can resolve this. FML

I know I will definitely get down voted for my comment but I'll say it anyways: Many of you have to understand that not everyone is open minded, and perhaps OPs girlfriend is one of those people. Not everyone is the type to sit down and try to find solutions to situations in relationships. Yeah OP deserves better, and perhaps the GF was just waiting for a chance to break up with OP, which is why she could've just left so easily also.

And being closed-minded (which already kind of sucks) is an excuse to be rude because...? Not only was she not accepting of something fairly common and "softcore", she adressed it awfully. There's a difference between calmly saying "Oh, then I don't think I can do this, sorry, it really isn't a thing for me..." and running off into the wild while screaming "EWW" like a 5-year-old... The OP's ex girlfriend had no excuse to choose that second option.
