Mean! :( I'm so sorry that happened OP, but maybe they just really wanted out. Sometimes you just can't wait any longer. But to do so in a birthday card is cruel, why mark down the hurt on something physical? Better to say it and let the air take the words than put it on paper and have it sit there. I hope you still have a good birthday and you'll find someone just right for you eventually <3
