It only works if the water is hot because the molecules want to turn into steam. When they try to turn into steam they actually end up turning to snow because it's cold as ****. Science is awesome isn't it?

Not all of us Americans are stupid, you know. A few of us at least have some common sense left. Granted, it's almost on the edge of being classified as a super-power anymore, given how few people actually have it.

Those of us up north seem to do just fine with the cold. Some people just lack common sense.
