Today, I flushed the toilet while my boyfriend was showering. He responded by throwing a huge fit, saying how if he “gets a cold” from being “forced” to shower in cold water, I’m gonna “have to stay home and take care of him until he’s better.” FML

nah boss, gets cold for me too. I think it depends on how each system is set up because I know friends who say theirs gets hot and some who say cold

when flushing the toilet while someone is showering, it causes all the cold water to be used by the toilet. the effect is scalding hot water coming from the shower

If you flush the toilet, the shower gets HOTTER not colder. As the toilet is hooked up to a cold water line and it takes away from the ratio the shower is using. Thus resulting in a scolding hot shower for a few minutes...
