Today, I had to bail my husband out of jail. It turns out that in the Black Friday rush, he beat a guy up just so he could get his hands on the last of a heavily-discounted item. The item in question: a toaster. FML

Today, a customer attempted to buy 5 mini blenders from our Black Friday sale. Our policy is a max of 2 per customer. When I pointed this out, the customer had a meltdown, spat on me, and stormed off. I have to get up tomorrow at the buttcrack of dawn to deal with shit like this again. FML

Today, at the Black Friday Sale, a fully grown man hit my 5 year old daughter for an Xbox. In anger, I punched the guy and gave him a bloody nose. I'm now banned from Best Buy, and my daughter has a concussion. FML

Today, while working at a dollar store, I was clobbered by a woman because apparently, I was ripping her off by charging two dollars for two doughnuts. She didn't understand that she couldn't buy multiple items at once for one dollar. FML

Today, being near-broke, I resorted to shopping at Walmart. Barely ten minutes in, an obese sack of lard posing as a human being shoved me away from the bacon I was looking at. I fell, busted my lip, then got screamed at by another woman for not watching where I was going. FML

Today, a customer threatened to smash my face in because I wouldn't give him a veteran's discount on a donut. He looked like he'd eaten his way out of fat camp, and it seemed the only action he'd seen was fighting his way into a lard factory. Still, he swung fast, and I now have a black eye. FML

Today, I was serving an incredibly rude woman at work. The ladder I had used to get her two pairs of shoes came crashing down, and hit my face and neck. She only bought one pair, and ten minutes later returned them after complaining they were too expensive. FML

I have only attended one Black Friday. Got a tv for 2O dollars, which was before flat screens and plasma was invented lol Hey, I thought I was cool to have my own tv when I was like 12 lol But ever since I heard people bringing guns to places and getting trampled and dying, I dont think getting something half off is worth someones life.

that black fridaqy stuff id a joke lol!! my friend went and got a ipod touch she said she got it on sale for $225 8g haha i got mine 2days later $190 how the hell was that even a sale!! oh and if u read the ads some of the fine print for some tvs it even says (only 5 in stock) lol with 20 to 30 ppl waiting in line for a tv

Who on Earth told you lot that the 'Black Friday' sales were named after the stock market crash that led to the Great Depression?! Firstly, the crash was called 'Black Tuesday', secondly, it happened about a month before Thanksgiving, and thirdly, the use of the term in the context of the sales only dates back about 40 years. *shakes head while walking off*
