Today, I was taking a walk, when an elderly lady in a motorized wheelchair slammed into me from behind. There was plenty of room to pass by, but noooo, trying to run me down like a dog, then giving me the finger and yelling "Watch where you're walking!" is so damn preferable. FML

Damn, so many evil grandmas popping up lately!

You should know by now the elderly will do as they please, and they've been walking the earth long enough to get away with it.

Old ladies doing these sort of things makes me want to grow old now... then I could pretend I'm senile and troll.

Rebel!! Mobility scooters are pains to pedestrians. In my town we have one who drives on the road so he's a pain to drivers. lose - lose situation he's in.

On that road he drives on - are there sidewalks next to that road? Are there ramps at BOTH ends of the sidewalk?? In the town I work in, most sidewalks only have ramps at one end. That's as useless as having none. Also, lots of times sidewalks aren't maintained, getting big holes in them, and sections become really uneven.

There's lots of dropped kerbs, his favourite road to drive down even has speed bumps which he goes between making it a nightmare for cars either direction. He's obese too. I therefore conclude that he's a lazy fat bastard who enjoys making others lives difficult.

I hate how some ppl think that a wheelchair is their invitation to act like a bitch. Yeah she's handicapped, but it's her legs that are handicapped, not her eyesight or her brain or her sense of compassion, so she should stop acting like it.

Reminds me of the South Park episode where the kids start tipping over all the fat people in their scooters. If we start tipping over all the obnoxious old people, soon they'll be needing to install a "tip-assist"!!

Good Point! and that's why we have a couple f generations now who really have no concept of what is right and wrong, and being cuddled and protected growing up, and never accepting responsibility for their own actions.

Sorry OP. There are two kinds of people in the world. Just don't become her kind.

Fat people and thin people? Tall people and short people? Jean wearers and sweats wearers? Oh man I give up, what are the two kinds of people in this world?

Compassionate people and assholes?

When you're riding around in an electric wheelchair, your entertainment options are limited. Running able-bodied people down and fingering them sounds like great fun for them.

I just created an account purely so I could tell you how much I was amused by your choice of the word "fingering" in this context.

oops looks like we think alike, 34.

Oh I hate people that think that everyone else are in their way and not the other way around.

It was like Carmegeton but with old people and wheelchairs.

The same exact thing happened to me at Disneyland, but then she backed up and hit me again and my foot was stuck under the wheel. It took two people to lift it off me :/

I would have pressed charges. Too many old people use the "I'm old" excuse act like the assholes they are.

That's crazy. Some old lady in a motorized wheel chair in Disney world ran sideways up my foot extrraaaa slow so I could feel all that nice crunching.
