Today, I was going to propose to my girlfriend. On our way to the Space Needle I was pulled over and promptly arrested. Apparently, I had recently purchased a car from a man who had robbed a jewelery store. The ring is now evidence. FML

Your life is awful. I'm really sorry, that is terrible. Well, I guess your girlfriend now knows you were going to propose... I hope she still said yes!

If you have a receipt for the ring you're OK. Sure it sucks being inconvenienced.

Wow, this site really highlights the IQ of some people. ie: those confused about the ring and thinking it was stolen too. Learn to read people!

I live, like, 10 minutes away from the Space Needle :D

That sucks the space needle is amazing

Seattle rules. Washington is by far the best state.

isn't there a receipt or some way of showing them that you purchased it? unless you bought it off the guy who sold you the car..if so, well then you screwed!

That sucks just explain to her what happened if she is really the one she will understand.

Sooo.... You bought a car from a person who robbed a jewelry store

Don't you have a receipt that you bought the ring?

Please, allow me to clarify: The man bought a car from an alleged jewelry store thief. Then, in an unrelated incident, bought an engagement ring. When he was pulled over, the cops then believed that the rung, which was not connected to the robbery, was stolen.
