Today, I was at dentist to get impressions made. The hygienist put way too much of the plaster stuff on the press. She put it in my mouth and asked if I was okay, I shook my head no and promptly vomited. It sat at the back of my throat and I could not spit it out until the plaster hardened. FML

Today, I was at my job as a dental assistant and I was told to take an X-ray of a woman's teeth. As soon as I put the foam piece into her mouth, she projectile-vomited all over me and the floor. I had just started my 5-hour shift. FML

Today, my dentist applied a paste on my teeth to make them more resistant. It tasted so disgustingly like artificial banana that I had to throw up. I'm not allowed to brush my teeth, drink or eat for 4 hours. FML

Today, I went to the dentist. She had a tool that sucks up saliva, and put it in my mouth. She told me to close my mouth, and I did. Turns out she forgot to turn it on, causing my saliva to go all over my face. I had to sit like that for the rest of the visit. FML

Today, I had a dentist appointment in which a nurse numbed my mouth. After coming home, I took a nap in which I unknowing bit through my top lip. I physically can't speak. FML

Today, I was violently sick. There was so much vomit forcing itself out that I dislocated my jaw. I continued throwing up with a dislocated jaw for an hour or so. FML

Today, I was treating a patient at the hospital where I'm a dentist. This particular gentleman was old and slightly deaf. After completing the procedure I gestured to the spitoon and asked him to spit. He got up, steadied himself, and spat straight in my face. FML

Today, I went to the orthodontist to have my braces worked on. I accidentally swallowed some of the cleaning solution she used. She told me it would probably give me an upset stomach. Apparently, an upset stomach and crapping your pants means the same thing to an orthodontist. FML

the same exact thing happened to me when they took my braces off... Cept I made sure to get some of it on the stupid orthodontist woman ;)

i'm sure if the dentist (or dentist's assistant, i'm assuming) had an FML it would read like this: Today, a patient came in who needed an impression and promptly gagged up vomit, this is the third time this week. I just ignored it because it was so disgusting! I mean, I could have done anything for a career, but instead, I'm a dentist, putting my hands into nasty mouths all day. The only thing worse would be being a foot doctor. FML btw, same thing happened to me. nasty impressions. :(

That hygienist doesn't know how to do her job. I've never gagged when getting impressions. It's never pleasant, but at least my hygienist was careful enough not to put too much of that stuff. Sorry, OP :(
