Today, I got my girlfriend to play Smash Bros Brawl with me. As it was her first time, I set up handicaps to give her at least a shot at winning. She won, quite handily. A little irritated at this, I took off the handicaps and tried again. She beat me even faster. FML

Today, it was supposed to be a big date day for my girlfriend and I. She really loves a specific video game, so I did what I thought was special on it. I learned the hard way that doing so ruined the entire day for her over the video game. FML

Today, I had a gym date with a girl from Tinder. As soon as I saw her loading up the 45s, I knew I was in trouble. She could squat and leg-press over 100 lbs more than me on both. Somehow she let me come over that night anyway. I challenged her to a wrestling match to try and gain back my pride, then she made me tap out. FML

I am going to say YDI. You shouldn't have "mercilessly dominated" her in the games; you should have let her win a couple at least (IMO).

sounds like fun to me...my boyfriend and I love Dave & Busters. I voted FYL because 1 you shouldn't let anyone win...it's a competitive game, be competitive. 2 she shouldn't be so immature as to refuse to talk to you. I don't know your ages but if you're old enough to date, you should not be that immature. find a better girl. one that doesn't act like a five year old and enjoys games as much as you so that she may be good competition for you.

I'm a female gamer (before my boyfriend took over my xbox haha) and I would enjoy going to an arcade. I would also enjoy going to play football or any other sport and if my boyfriend were to beat me at it, I wouldn't have a problem with it because it's just called being a good significant other. your significant other enjoys something, you should give it a try. if they beat you, understand that they are more experienced and just try harder next time.
