Today, my 8-year-old daughter came home from school, saying she had gotten engaged and was wearing a ring. It looked real. Later that night, I got a call saying that their son had given my daughter his grandma's engagement ring. My daughter actually said no to the engagement, but still took the ring, FML

Are you sure this wasn't about 8 years ago? A kid in my second grade class (who also was my first boyfriend :) gave me a really expensive ring when we got together. it was sooo pretty but my mom made me give it back. hahaha

Why weren't you wearing it?? If it doesn't fit, get it resized or wear it on a nice chain or something! I hope you got it back! If you take it off at night or something, maybe try keeping it out of reach and not just lying around?
