Today, I overheard my 11-year-old son giving my 8-year-old daughter the sex talk. FML
Today, a 7-year-old girl came up to me and told me to go fuck myself. I told her to watch her language or else I'd tell her parents. Her mom happened to be nearby and actually heard the conversation; she came up to me and told me to go fuck myself as well. FML
Today, my 7 year-old daughter loudly asked in the middle of a supermarket, "Mummy, what's a cunt?" FML
Today, I woke up to my daughter crying, and my son running through the living room completely naked with her bottle, laughing his head off. FML
Today, my daughter walked in on me taking a shower. She said, "Hey, yours is the same size as Dylan's!" My daughter has seen Dylan's penis, which apparently is the same size as mine. My daughter and Dylan are 7. FML
Today, I overheard my mom giving my 6-year-old daughter the sex talk. FML
Today, I was having sex with my wife when my 14 year-old daughter texted me from her room, "Stop." FML
Today, my boyfriend and I heard my parents going at it upstairs. He said, "sounds like they're having more fun than we did." To make it worse, he crept to their door and put his ear to it, telling me what he heard. FML
Today, I overheard my 5 year old daughter call a girl in her dance class a slut. Shocked, I asked her where she heard that word. Her response: "I heard you and Daddy say it about her Mommy." FML
Today, I was rushing around like a lunatic trying to get my shit together and knocked on my son's door a few times. The fourth time I did it, he shouted at me to just fuck off already because he’s trying to have a wank. Oops, and TMI son, TMI. FML

It's the parents and the environment they're in. "Parents" today want to be friends with their kids instead of parents. Couple that with a lax school environment in which the teachers don't care and/or don't have the power to do anything about disrespect (because everyone is sue happy) and the other kids being bad influences on others, you're going to get that type of language and lack of respect for each other. The OP should stand up, make him/herself the alpha dog (so to say) of the house, and be a parent. Instill some pride and standards in your kids.

In no way should schools be blamed for it all. Every school I know will not allow that type of language. And they sure didn't learn it off of sesame street. What kind of a parent are you that you would teach your kids that?! Kids learn from example, and you are obviously to blame. You disgust me, and I think you should have your kids taken away from you,as they will obviously end up in jail in the near future. In fact if you don't eat them and wash their mouths out, and if I knew who you were, I'd call child services on you. How young are you? Obviously far too young to have kids!

Phoenix- I agree! I'm against abuse and all, but srsly. A good spanking every now and again is needed. When I was a toddler and said something bad, I got spanked and now, I watch what I say. Kids get NO DISCIPLINE. At school, they could claim discrimination or racism or something. It's ridiculous.

Oh, and don't be afraid to physically punish your kids. The law allows you to discipline them as long as the force used is reasonable. If they threaten to call Child Protective Services, let them.

I agree with an earlier commenter. There is no way they are learning this at school. They may learn words but they don't learn to use them in the context mentioned here. My 2 kids plus my niece and nephew are all within 2 years of each other. My wife and I have never talked like that in front of our kids and we've never even overheard them talking like this. My niece and nephew are exposed to language like this every day from their parents and have been suspended from school several times. You need to look in your own house and place the blame accordingly.
