Today, I heard a loud crashing noise. I ran into the kitchen to see what it was. My cat had knocked over my fish bowl and had my Beta in her mouth. After scolding her and rescuing it, I decided to clean its bowl. When I went to dump some of the water in the sink, my fish went down the drain. FML

Today, as I was washing my boyfriend's fishbowl, the fish did a Nemo and made an unholy leap down the drain. My immediate impulse was to flip the switch. Our kitchen now smells like mutilated fish and my boyfriend won't speak to me. FML

Today, I was draining the water from my fishbowl out into the kitchen sink. The fish was still in it and decided to go with the flow, literally, right into the garburator. I was too scared to stick my hand down there to save it; instead I panicked and turned the garburator on. FML

Today, I bought a fish. I put the tank on top of the fridge so my cat wouldn't get at it. I'd forgotten to buy some things for its tank, so I quickly ran out to get them. When I got home, I saw the tank destroyed on the floor, and my cat devouring my fish. I had the fish for less than an hour. FML

Today, I bought a new Siamese Fighting Fish. I was so happy with my new fish so I bought him an expensive lovely bowl, some weeds, and a toy for the bowl. I left the room to get the fish food. When I returned, the fish was gone, and the cat was sitting on the table. FML

Today, I bought a fish bowl and a fish for $15. I brought him home and sat him on my desk. Everything was going well until the shelf gave out and his bowl slid off of the shelf... onto my $2,000 computer. The computer is fried and is not covered by the insurance, the fish is fine. FML

Today, I woke up to go pee and my cat followed me into the bathroom as usual. Then, in a not so usual fashion, she tried to jump from the sink to the top of the toilet, missed, and fell into the bowl while I was peeing. I'm scratched in a bad place, I have urine to clean up off the bathroom floor, and a traumatized cat. FML

It's not a "beta," it's a "betta." I really doubt she had a greek alphabet letter in her mouth.

That sucks! I'd be lost without my Flagirbrib Jones, who is a Betta. And by the way, it's Betta. Accidents happen, FYL and FTFL (You'll figure it out..). Poor fishy.

OMG; betta's are a dime a dozen. Lesson learned; eh? Cats naturally go after fish, or birds, or mice. It's instinct. We've had our cats kill pet fish and pet birds. And we've also had our dogs kill pet rabbits, pet chickens, and a pet gerbil (they won't open the door to go outside when they need to take a crap, but they were able to undo the latch and open the door to get at the rabbits; by scratching at it). It's tragic; I know. All part of the circle of life - lol.

Today, while I was enjoying my morning swim, my owners cat knocked my bowl over. After the bitch tried to eat me, my owner saved me. Then when the dumb ass tried to clean my bowl, she poured me down the sink. FML.

Today, I was blowing bubbles in my bowl on a nice day when all of a sudden my owners cat knocks over my bowl, he had me in his mouth and was about to eat me. I was at peace with dying when all of a sudden my owner rushes in to the room and starts screaming. She threw me back in my bowl and then flushed me down the drain where I suffered a long and painful death. FML
