One time, my mom went to grab a drink and missed her turn signal to turn left. The car to he left did not. IT made the left turn just in time to be rammed by a speeding car from the right who ran the light. IF she had not went for her water/soda it would have been her.

And without people like her who are easily distracted and don't pay attention to what's going on on the road the other car probably would have been fine too.

YDI, if you know you're road is coming up you should've slowed down. If you had done so you wouldn't have missed it nor been stuck in traffic.

Ooo that stinks. My mom and her friend were talking so much that they missed their exit and realized it a while later! Lol if it makes you feel any better. :)
