Today, I came home and saw on our fridge, "Please don't drink anymore, I really worry about your health" written by my 7-year-old daughter. I figured she wouldn't ever find out, so I opened the fridge. Then I found another note on a can that said, "So you're going to drink anyway?" FML

You should feel lucky to have a smart daughter who really cares about you.

Wow. Way to take your own pleasure over the happiness of your family. You can kiss the father of the year award goodbye. -Your DarkestSinn

This is really sad. I don't know how many times I said the same thing to my Dad throughout my 20 years and he just died 3 months ago from cerrosis of the liver. I don't know you, but maybe you should get some help.

damn. my mother's an alcoholic and currently doing time in prison while her ten year old son continues to ask why mummy has to drink and go funny. way to go, pops.

at least someone cares about your health

Clearly she had help with that dude. I mean 7 year olds are cleaver, but obviously someone helped her with that note. But in anycase, your drinking obviously affecting your family, so why not take a step and go to an AA meeting.

You must quit, period. If you have any sense as a father and love your daughter at all, you really must quit.

Dude, if it's gotten to this point, put down the bottle.

that's really sad and your daughter is really smart

You should really listen to her!! She probly just saved your life
