Today, I went in to work and was handed a write-up for having lied about being sick in order to leave early yesterday. Apparently, a co-worker saw me leave the parking lot, then immediately pull into the shopping center next door. I was going to Walgreens for cold medicine. FML

People are jerks. I could never work in an office and have to put up with crap like that. But at least it's not a difficult thing to explain, especially if you still have the receipt, and your co-worker will look like a douche.

So explain to your boss that you went to get cold medicine at the store and tell off the nosey bitch for telling on you going to a store. Tell them to prove you were out goofing off. Show them the receipt of the cold medicine.
