Today, I woke up and my husband said he got me a gift for our one year anniversary and that it was on the table. We laid around cuddling and when I finally got up I was expecting to walk out to beautiful bouquet of flowers. I got two packs of cigarettes. FML

Today, it's my husband's and my first wedding anniversary. I came home from work hoping for at least a bouquet of flowers, only to find my husband passed out on the couch, with a few beer cans next to him. I guess I missed the party. FML

Today, I took my girlfriend out for dinner to a fancy Italian restaurant for our one year anniversary. After giving her some roses, freshly baked cookies, and a thoughtful poem I wrote for her, she started laughing and asked for her real gift. FML

Today, it is my boyfriend's and my one year anniversary. I bought him a Playstation 2. As soon as I gave it to him, he went straight to set it up without giving me anything. I said "What about me?" He walked over to me, gave me a kiss and said "I love it when you buy me things for no reason." FML

@ 91 and all the other smoker haters, you guys are some of the most distastefully judgemental ******* i've ever seen. How can you flat out claim that you are a better person than someone who smokes? I bet you I can name hundreds of people who were/are smokers that are 10000000000000x more successful than you will EVER be. I am not a smoker, but do you really think you are enlightening any smokers with the whole "OMG UR GONNA GET CANCER AND DIE" thing? #132: We are innately superior to smokers. A smoker is voluntarily using a carcinogenic, mind-altering drug. The simple fact that you actually choose to do that makes you inferior by nature. This is not my opinion. If you choose to waste your life on addictive carcinogens, you ARE inferior to someone who doesn't. I don't care if you do get cancer. I'm not worried about that. I'm just stating the simple FACT that if you rely on addictive drugs to function, you are an innately inferior person.
