Today, my boss told me that there is no point in making me cut onions anymore because every time I do, I look like I've "been beaten", and can't be seen by the customers for at least half an hour. FML

Today, I was disciplined by my boss for "not smiling enough." I'm a dishwasher. FML
Today, my boss told me to cut my long hair. After coming back to work with a clean cut hairstyle, he apparently thought I was the new guy, and said I was going to be trained by "The long-haired girly-looking idiot." FML
Today, my boss bitched me out on the sales floor for a good 10 minutes, because I wasn't "smiling the right way" for our customers. FML
Today, my boss told me that people from work have been complaining about me. Apparently, I'm not doing part of their jobs for them, and the other manager sometimes does. FML
Today, I told my boss I was bored of being a cashier and would rather go to food prep. He told me I couldn't because my arms were too hairy. I'm a sixteen year old girl. FML
Today, my boss called me into his office and bitched me out for a good half hour for my attitude to our customers. Apparently I always look pissed off and sound sarcastic. That's just my face at rest. FML
Today, my boss pretty much told me that I'm too ugly to meet clients, and should stay in the office doing the paperwork. So basically, I'm a modern day Hunchback of Notre Dame. FML
Today, my boss told me to "act more professionally." So… I sat in the corner and cried for an hour. FML
Today, my boss commented on the fact that I don't usually wear makeup, then told me it would be much appreciated if I'd change that. FML
Today, I had an hour-long meeting with my manager where she informed me the reason I had not been promoted is because she felt that people would not like to work for me, because I would, "make them do their job." FML

I had to cut 3 50 LB bags of onions once for the restaurant I worked at..Yeah-I used a chopper to cut them, but still had to cut off the top/bottom and peel...That was murder to me (and chewing gum helped up until the 10th onion)..lol

I work in a produce department at a grocery store and we recently discovered that people wearing contacts seem to be immune to onions.

Wear something to cover your nose the only reason people cry when cutting onions is when you smell the gas the onion emits

Due to the crying? Either way the gloves should prevent any sort of reaction to a wide extent But if it's due to crying chew gum while cutting it cuts down on the reaction...
