Today, my parents and I went to the movies for my mom's birthday. After the movie, my mom and dad got into a fight, and left me at the movies. My cell phone was dead, and my house was about 12 miles away. They finally came and picked me up, hours later. FML

Maybe they weren't really fighting. Maybe they wanted some special alone time 'cause it was her birthday, and could think of no other way to get it. Either way, it's an FML.

Yeh im confused too, why would they leave you there because they were fighting?! Did they drive home to go fight in private and leave you there? Or do they infact have 2 separate cars? Either way, i don't see why they would leave you there! I hate poorly worded FML's.

Why didn't you start walking? You could have probably made it home in the "hours" you had to wait for them.

Aww, so you can't walk 12 miles? I used to walk more than that through a forest with swamps when I was 10. It wouldn't take more than 3 hours for an average person to walk 12 miles on a solid flat road, plus it's good for your health to have your fat ass walk once in a while.
