Today, I finally invited my girlfriend over to meet my oddball parents. The first words out of my dad's mouth were, "So, you're the silly girl who agreed to date my dickhead son." It went downhill from there. FML

I find it hard to believe op's dad was being an asshole, maybe he was trying to be humorous. Sure it would suck if OP's dad would legitimately think his son "a ********".... But if he was joking, what then?

Maybe, just maybe, the op deserves the title.... I know this one guy, a REAL winner, whom I would like to hit with a bus. He was asked by his mom, who is disabled, to take the rent money down the street to the landlord. He bought an 8-ball with it.... On the other hand, if you're a stand up guy op, your gf probably knows this, so you shouldn't worry.
