Today, while working as a manager at a restaurant, the "All employees must wash hands" sign in the bathroom was stolen. Now my employees won't wash their hands because they "don't have to." FML

Today, while at a fast food restaurant, I wanted to wash my hands. The restrooms were locked, so a cashier got the key and opened the men's restroom. This would have been fine if I wasn't a girl. FML

Today, my coworker cornered me in the office bathroom and insisted that, because she's been watching me, I use the bathroom too quickly and must not be washing my hands, and that I have to wash them from now on. FML

Today, my manager bailed on me during the afternoon rush; swamped and distracted, I cut off the pad of my thumb in a cheese slicer. Some clinic hours later I returned, hungry and sick with blood loss, to sign WC papers. Manager's only words: "You're staying late to cover your long break, right?" FML

Today, while at work, I went to unlock the washroom for a customer. Normally we don't allow customers to use the staff washrooms, so I was as surprised as the guy I found sitting on the toilet when I opened the door. FML

Make them wear gloves and take it off after using the bathroom, etc. It'll annoy them and they will want to wash their hands. PLUS, you're the manager. Show them who is the boss!

Fire em all for not washing their hands. Simple as that. When I had my bar, if I ever caught someone not washing their hands after going to the bathroom, they got wrote up. 3 write ups in 6 months = termination. The second the first person got wrote up 3 times for it and was fired, I never had an issue again. And I didn't care what job they had(whether it was mopping the floor, or stocking the storeroom) they had to wash their hands period.
